These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Finodify, operated by Finodify Limited (“Finodify,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
Finodify is a personal finance tracking and visibility tool. You log your own income and expenses, and Finodify helps you understand where your money goes. Finodify is not a bank, a payment processor, a wallet, or a financial institution. We do not hold your money, move money on your behalf, or have access to your actual bank accounts unless you explicitly connect a supported feature that requires it. Finodify does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice — the insights, summaries, and Money Stories we generate are for informational purposes, based on the data you log, and should not be treated as professional financial advice.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use Finodify. You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account — this is permanent, see our Privacy Policy for exactly what happens when you do.
The transactions, notes, and other information you log ("Your Content") belongs to you. By using Finodify, you grant us the limited right to store, process, and display Your Content back to you as part of providing the Service (e.g. generating your dashboard, categories, and Money Story). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.
Finodify offers a Free plan and a Pro plan (subscription). Pro plan pricing, features, and billing terms will be presented clearly before you subscribe, and can change over time — we’ll notify you of material changes before they affect an active subscription. Pro is billed through Paystack, a third-party payment processor, on Finodify’s own website — not through Apple’s or Google’s in-app purchase systems. You can pay either with a card or bank account that renews automatically each billing period, or with USSD/Bank Transfer as a one-time payment for a fixed period that does not auto-renew (you’ll be reminded before it ends so you can pay again if you’d like to continue). Either way, you can cancel or manage your subscription at any time from Billing & Receipts in the app. Cancelling an auto-renewing plan stops future charges — you keep Pro access until the period you already paid for ends. Paystack’s own terms also apply to the payment itself; Finodify never stores your card or bank details.
You agree not to: use Finodify for any unlawful purpose, or to log fraudulent/fictitious financial data with intent to deceive another party; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or data; reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except as permitted by applicable law; use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service outside of the app’s own intended use; or interfere with or disrupt the Service’s infrastructure. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Finodify is provided "as is." We work hard to keep the Service accurate and available, but we don’t guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly suited to every use case. Currency conversion rates, generated insights, and Money Stories are based on available data and third-party rate sources, and may not be perfectly precise — always use your own judgment for financial decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Finodify and Finodify Limited are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to financial decisions made based on information in the app.
We may update Finodify’s features and these Terms over time. Material changes to the Terms will be communicated in-app before they take effect. Continuing to use Finodify after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, matching Finodify Limited’s real CAC registration (RC 9840494). Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
